This model is not recommended for infants. However, it is suitable for children aged 3 months and older. You can purchase one of Maclaren's lighter umbrella strollers if you need a pram at that stage. The hood can be pulled down right to the baby's feet to provide sun protection or a comfortable nap and is easy to use.
Another excellent feature is the reversible seating unit that allows you to alter the direction that your child is facing. The reclining seat offers both back and head support and allows your child to take a peaceful nap in their carrycot or seat. Claire also liked the spacious shopping basket which is accessible when you use the seat or carrycot unit in all positions. It can accommodate a large amount of nappies and a change bag!
Finally, the Xplory is a premium pram from Stokke and is suitable for babies from birth. It comes with an infant pushchair, a chassis and a carrycot that can be placed on a flat surface. However, other accessories, like the rain cover must be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.
This adorable doll pram from Mamas & Papas is perfect to encourage role-playing and to stimulate imagination. Its realistic features include an under-seat grocery basket, a removable rainhood and a matching changing bag. It's ideal for whizzing around the house or going for a stroll in the park! 4. Thule Shine
The Shine stroller comes from a brand known for its cool, practical products. It's one of the lightest strollers on the market and feels sturdy and robust in your hands despite its minimalist design. It's also extremely versatile with the ability to be used right from birth thanks to the accessories that come with it that transform it into a bassinet Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest as well as a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories are sold separately).
The Shine is not like other prams that are lightweight when it comes to cargo storage. The 22-pound capacity of the Shine allows you to bring everything you require on a day trip without having to worry about putting everything in the back.
The wheels are easy to attach to the frame. They clip on straight from the box. The bassinet is easy to attach and comes with handles that are similar to those of a Moses basket. When you're done the pram folds to an elegant and compact size so you can fit it in the smallest of cars.
Thule's air purifier canopy is a highlight too, with an inbuilt fan that purifies the air you breathe to eliminate pollen, bacteria, viruses, and other nasty contaminants. Thule claims that it can clean 150l per minute of air and is compatible with an app that displays the quality of the air in your area.
The only downside is the cost. While it's less expensive than other 2-in-1 prams, the entire kit costs more than PS1,000. That's especially hard to swallow when there are other options like Thule Spring. Thule Spring, which is smaller and lighter and costs less than half as much.
Thule's strollers are known for their durability, and I've seen them through the wringer at the Thule Hillerstop HQ in Sweden. They drop prams from heights, crash them down slopes, then ride them across bumpy tracks in the snow to test their quality and durability. They look great!
